The Plantlanta Community Block Party is where learning meets celebration.

This event brings together students, families, educators, creatives, and community partners for a day centered on sustainability, STEAM learning, culture, and connection. It’s an extension of our school-based work...creating space for students to share what they’ve learned and for communities to learn together.

The Block Party isn’t just an event. It’s a moment of belonging.

What is This?

What Makes the Block Party Special?

The Community Block Party is designed to be joyful, accessible, and student-centered. Each Block Party may include:

  • Student showcases and hands-on learning stations

  • Food, music, and creative performances

  • STEAM activities and sustainability education

  • Local artists, educators, and community organizations

  • Space for families and neighbors to connect

Every Block Party reflects the school and community hosting it.

Why We Do This

Learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends.

The Block Party creates a shared space where:

  • Students are celebrated as leaders and creators

  • Families engage with learning in meaningful ways

  • Schools and communities strengthen their relationships

  • Sustainability and creativity feel approachable and fun

It’s about visibility, pride, and connection...all essential to #GrowingBetterLeaders.
